"Jack Hilger and Augusto Silva, teammates on the FC PUMA u13 boys team, participated in an international trip to Portugal from 2/17 - 2/24 for a series of soccer practices and games. 23 members from the 1994 Massachusetts Olympic Development Program (ODP) made the trip which included games in Terceira (Azores), Lisbon and Ana Dia. The team went 3-1-1 during the week. Silva collected 4 goals, 1 assist and Hilger tallied 2 goals, 4 assists of the 1994 team's total 13 goals in 5 games. Notably, Silva had a hat trick in the Ana Dia game where the Mass ODP team won 6 - 1.
The trip was capped off with a final game at the practice field in front of Benfica Stadium in Lisbon against the u13 Benfica professional #2 team where the Massachusetts 1994 boys won 3 - 1. The team was also given a tour of the Benfica Stadium and training facilities. Portugal Pro soccer organized the trip."

Effective January 1st, my term as President of FC PUMA has officially ended. I have notified the Board of Directors that I will not be continuing on as President for an additional two-year term. As the Board makes plans and searches for a new Club President, I have offered to stay on to assist during this transition period until the end of the spring season helping to coordinate activities or until a new Club President is announced. While the past two years have been a considerable amount of work due to the Club’s growth in so many areas, I have enjoyed my time as President and the opportunity to work with the FC PUMA community. I would like to thank all the parents, managers, and coaches who have given their time to improve FC PUMA during my term as President. The dedication of those individuals has strengthened the Club and the overall soccer experience for every player. I wish all FC PUMA players, families, managers, and coaches continued success both for the upcoming spring season and the many seasons that follow.

Our annual FC PUMA PICNIC will be held on August 12th from 5:00-8:00pm at Ellsworth-McAfee park in Northboro. Food, Games, Raffle Prizes, and much more... Raffle items will include a Club Scholarship and BOSE iPod Sound Dock. We hope to see all our new and returning players and there families there. CONGRATULATIONS to the FC PUMA BU12 and GU12 teams for winning their quarterfinal games and earning a position in next years U13 DIVISION ONE bracket! The Boys defeated Inter 4-1 while the girls defeated the Blackhawks 2-0. Great job by both teams!

FC PUMA BU12 and GU12 teams advance to Round Robin State Cup MAPLE Tournament Quarter Finals. The number one seed BU12 team went 3-0 outscoring their opponents 14-2, while the number 7 seed GU12 team went 2-1 outscoring their opponebts 9-4 to advance to the next round. Tournament quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals are to be played at CRU park June 17th and 18th. Good Luck to Both teams!
